Finance Manager, ANA Treatment Centres

Salary: £40,000

Background
ANA Treatment Centres provides residential addiction treatment for adults across 35 beds in two residential units in Portsmouth, plus follow-up, move-on Supported Housing through ANA Works CIC.
We are seeking an experienced, well-organised and proactive Finance Manager to lead on all financial matters and help to move ANA forwards in a planned and considered manner.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take full ownership of the internal finance function within a well-established residential treatment service (est.1998). Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes and delivering high-quality financial insight. The role has become vacant due to retirement and there will be a period of handover and training provided to the new post holder.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly management accounting information to directors, forecasts, KPIs and financial analysis
- Manage budgets, cashflow and financial performance across the business
- Undertake payroll and ensure compliance with statutory and pension requirements
- Undertake accurate and timely monthly invoicing, together with follow-up credit control.
- Support our accountants to prepare final year-end accounts and regulatory submissions
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions
- Administer business insurances and re-new with best value
- Administer client related matters: Storing valuables, providing subs and repayment plans, etc
- Supplier management, renewal and ordering
- Advise CEO, Founder and the Management Team on financial matters
What Experience is Required
- Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an internal finance or management accounting role
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and modern accounting systems – Quick Books Online
