Introduction

AddressBrynawel House, Llanharry Road, Llanharan, Rhondda Cynon Taff. CF72 9RN. T: 01443 226 864

Brynawel is Wales’ leading residential centre for the treatment of alcohol and drug dependency — but more importantly, we are a place of hope, care and new beginnings.

We understand that addiction is complex. It’s rarely caused by just one thing. Life experiences, mental health, trauma, physical health, family history and social pressures can all play a part. That’s why we take the time to understand you — your story, your challenges, and your strengths.

At Brynawel, we believe in the power of relationships, connection and purpose. Recovery happens when people feel safe, supported and understood.

Our experienced team includes trained therapists, nurses, a neuropsychologist, occupational therapists and dedicated recovery support workers. Together, we provide thoughtful, personalised care using a whole-person approach. We look at your physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and life experiences to help you build strong foundations for lasting recovery.

Our therapeutic programme offers both one-to-one and group support, alongside meaningful wellbeing activities such as horticultural therapy, art therapy, gardening in our wellbeing allotments, gym sessions, yoga and meditation. These activities help you reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with a renewed sense of purpose.

Recovery is a journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone. We are here to support you every step of the way.
